For over thirty years Dr. Gutiérrez has been involved with donating his time and resources through partnering with organizations such as Lion's Club International and the California Vision Project. He volunteers his time at health fairs for those who are unable to afford health services, in addition to pro-bono exams when recommended by schools and churches. In a partnership with VSP Dr. Gutiérrez Optometry also works with elementary & high schools to examine and prescribe glasses via Healthy Kids, Sight for Students and Healthy Families. Seniors age 65 and older without vision insurance are eligible to receive a 20% discount on all exam and material fees. |
