Dr. anacleto 'nick' GutiÉrrez, o.d., m.p.h., Optometrist
Well respected in the community, Dr. Anacleto "Nick" Gutiérrez, O.D., M.P.H., has spent over 40 years providing quality optometry care to patients in the greater Sacramento area, in the heart of Midtown, down the street from the Capitol.
He graduated from the U.C. Berkeley School of Optometry as a Doctor of Optometry, and also holds a masters degree in Public health from the U.C. Berkeley School of Public Health. His career began at the U.C. Berkeley School of Optometry as an Associate Clinical Professor, during this time he helped start "La Clinica de la Raza'' optometry section at the clinic in Oakland. During Governor Brown’s first term he came to Sacramento as a Statewide Optometric Consultant. Continuing his dedication to serve the community Dr. Gutiérrez also served as the inaugural Board Chairman for 'Health For All” a non-profit local clinic. Additionally, he has served twice as President of the Sacramento Valley Optometric Society. Currently he chairs the Vision One Credit Union Board and is a member of various associations including the California Optometric Association, Sacramento Valley Optometry Society, and the American Optometric Association. He is certified by the State Board of Optometry, licensed in Ocular diagnostics, therapeutic, lacrimal duct probing, and glaucoma treatment. Dr. G enjoys spending time with his family and restoring historical Victorian buildings, like the one he practices in. His passion is serving his patients and helping them with their vision health. dR. WILLIAM rICHARDSON, o.d.
Dr. Richardson is originally from Southern California and has been living in Auburn for the past 20 years. He received his education in University of California, Irvine and California State University, Long Beach. After that, he earned his Doctor of optometry Degree from Southern California College of Optometry. He is a very active member of his community and is a frequent participant in events such as school vision screenings and community health fairs.
We love his attention to detail and how he truly listens to his patients concerns in order to best identify and treat their ocular conditions. Dr. Richardson has vast experience in helping patients to find relief from the discomfort of chronic ocular surface diseases and always does so with a personal touch and concern. His cheerful disposition certainly helps in caring for our patients and he is quite thorough in explaining all possible therapeutic options for each individual patients. His hobbies include enjoying Celtic music, photography, and hiking in the foothills. He is happily married and has three grown children. We feel very fortunate to have him on our team and we know you’ll enjoy seeing him as well! |
